History
The name “KOSA” originally comes from the initials of Kjell Olsson and Stig Andersson, who founded the company back in 1977.
In September 2021, KOSA was acquired and is currently owned and operated by Per Egeryd, Eric Tengroth, and Anton Axellie.
Over the years, we have always put the customer at the center of everything we do, and today we can proudly say that we are the world’s largest manufacturer of bandy equipment.
Operations
In addition to manufacturing bandy equipment, we provide custom-designed match kits to numerous clubs and associations around the world. In 2022, we entered into a partnership with the Swedish Bandy Association and currently supply equipment to the national team squads.
That same year, we also launched a brand-new training collection with a focus on fresh, sleek design, improved fit, and enhanced functionality. This also marked the first time KOSA developed a training collection specifically for women—a decision that was a natural step for us.

As part of this work, we have moved our headquarters to Örebro and will also move our warehouse to larger premises in Karlskoga later this year. Furthermore, we have initiated an extensive rebranding effort where we will preserve the fine heritage of the brand while developing it into something that breathes both the present and the future.”
